Meet Chef Bear
Chef Bear’s culinary journey began at the age of five, learning the basics from his father in their Virginia Beach home. By 13, he was selling food platters to his mother’s coworkers, honing his skills and sparking his passion for creating unforgettable meals.
After 12 honorable years in the Marine Corps, where he gained discipline, leadership, and persistence, Chef Bear reignited his love for cooking. He pursued his education at the International Culinary Institute of San Diego, earning a Bachelor of Science in Culinary Business Management and later a Master’s degree in Organizational Leadership and Development.
With experience in fine dining, upscale casual, and corporate food services, Chef Bear combined his expertise and entrepreneurial spirit to launch Bears A Chef LLC. Today, his DBA brand, For A Season Charcuterie, brings his vision of innovative, high-quality charcuterie to life.
